Krav Maga is suited for both men and women regardless of age or physical ability. Krav Maga leverages instinctive reaction and large motor skills so anyone who will dedicate the time to learn can get to a high level quickly. Combining techniques from Jiu Jitsu, Judo, Kung Fu and several other fighting styles, Krav Maga makes for an effective and comprehensive street survival system.
Even though Krav Maga is not centered around fitness, a student will still get a great workout. Getting in physical shape is a great added benefit of fight training. A typical class includes high-intensity drills that mimic the stress and exhaustion of a real-life physical encounter. Every class is designed to push you to your limits and increase your skill and fitness level, so you are better prepared to deal with an actual street survival event.
Krav Maga teaches you how to defend yourself against handguns, long guns, knives, chokes, multiple attackers, and almost anything you might deal with in an attack situation.
